Background & Overview

Born Siku Rasmussen to a Danish Anthropologist and an Inuktun mother, the hero Glacier was raised in the frozen village of Thule in northern Greenland. Eventually his father’s career took them to Canada and Alaska, but Siku always felt a strong connection to his heritage and the glacial north of his ancestors.

Following in his father’s academic footsteps, Siku made a career of studying the cultures of the inuit, which led to his discovery of the Heart of Thule, an ancient artifact sacred to his people. The heart grants Siku incredible ice-based powers, including the ability to toughen his skin like the surface of a massive glacier and make his fists into blocks of frozen fury.

With a dry, somewhat dark, sense of humor and imposing build, Siku can be a frightening presence, unafraid of using his size and strength to taunt or intimidate his enemies.
Dubbed Glacier by the media, he fights for the underserved and unprotected people and natural wonders of the world.

  • Melee Attack (8): Glacier can cover his fists in hardened ice, dealing Str+3d6 damage (+d6 from Bruiser). He can Charge the power to add 1d6. He can Smash to ignore Armor of vehicles or inanimate objects, but becomes Vulnerable until the end of his next turn. Requires: Heart of Thule amulet.
