This ornate amulet, made in during the Qin Dynasty of ancient China, features a glowing orb of molten iron contained within an obsidian-like shell. Known as Qinβs Stardrop Pendant, for its beautiful teardrop design, modern analysis has shown the pendant to have come from the core of a meteorite, making the name quite fitting. It posseses unusual magnetic properties.
Origin
Little is known, but it has been in the possession of a private collector for decades. Itβs now on tour around the globe as part of a greater exhibit of Qin Dynasty artifacts.
Legends say the pendant grants itβs wearer the strength of the heavens, and the ability to melt the weapons of opposing armies.
